As a business solutions expert, I have more than 20 years' experience in the industries of human resources, payroll, accounting, and information systems, with 13 state licenses in life and health insurance.

I have worked and consulted with major corporations and government agencies such as Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, Magellan Health, Nidec Motors, American Equity Mortgage, & the St. Louis City Fire Department, just to name a few.

My education is from Lindenwood University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance.

MY JOURNEY TO INDEPENDENCE

After a fruitful career in corporate America, I decided to shift to entrepreneurship so that I could concentrate on bridging the wealth management and retirement planning gaps for small enterprises. But after receiving a breast cancer diagnosis, my journey was abruptly halted. My family's income significantly decreased while I was receiving therapy and recovering. I received treatment for 18 months. My daily routine included going to the doctor on schedule, typically three times per week but occasionally everyday.

Total treatments for my cancer included a bilateral mastectomy with removal of all lymph nodes under the left arm and both nipples, 30 rounds of radiation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and ongoing anti-cancer medication treatments. I also underwent four blood transfusions, two rounds of IV therapy, eight rounds of chemotherapy, and lost all of my hair and most of my weight. My illness made clear where our financial preparedness was lacking. After we had gone through, we lost one of our parents to colon cancer, and then our father had a serious heart attack that required a triple bypass.

As soon as I got going on my path to rehabilitation and restoring my strength. I decided to shift my attention from helping and advising corporate America to planning, designing, and establishing plans for the self-employed, entrepreneurs, and small business owners who might someday find themselves in a similar or worse scenario. I honestly believe that life is a gift!

And for a variety of reasons related to my life's path, I find the most fulfillment in empowering others and realizing their aspirations.

I look forward to working with you all!

My History...

Throughout my years of service, I have provided freelance writing and consulting services, specializing in certifying businesses as MBEs, DBEs, and WBEs for the St. Louis Airport Authority. I later expanded to help small businesses secure government contracts through SBA 8(a) applications. My services then evolved to include business plan writing, back-office setup, and grant writing, broadening my client base. With expertise in strategic planning and HR systems, I worked with Fortune 500 companies and implemented organization-wide programs. My key competencies include HR management, policy development, training, compliance, and vendor negotiations.
